How many modules published in its wake, dkngeonland matter how finely crafted, can say the same? Cowie praised the “excellent underlying theme” and the “whimsical”, but on occasion “very black humour”. Another fun bit of trivia is that they were originally assigned as seen in the World of Greyhawk boxed set module codes GC1 and GC2, presumably standing for Greyhawk Castle.
